Rent Ghana Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Rent Ghana. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Rent Ghana website, mobile applications, and related services (“Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Rent Ghana

Rent Ghana is an online property marketplace that connects property owners, landlords, estate agents, and prospective tenants. Rent Ghana is not a party to any rental agreement entered into between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use this Platform.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information.
• Keeping your password secure.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• All activities carried out under your account.

Rent Ghana may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Property Listings

Users posting properties agree that:

• Listings are accurate and truthful.
• They have the legal authority to advertise the property.
• Images and videos belong to them or are used with permission.
• Prices and property information are kept up to date.

False, misleading, duplicate, or fraudulent listings may be removed without notice.

5. Property Requests

Users may submit property requests describing the type of accommodation they are seeking. Rent Ghana does not guarantee that a suitable property will be found.

6. Communication

The Platform provides messaging and contact tools to facilitate communication between users. Users are responsible for all communications and must act respectfully.

Harassment, abuse, fraud, spam, or illegal conduct is prohibited.

7. Payments

Certain services, including subscriptions and featured listings, require payment.

All payments are processed through approved third-party payment providers.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable after the purchased service has been activated.

8. Agent Verification

Verification indicates that Rent Ghana has reviewed certain documents submitted by an agent. Verification does not guarantee the quality of services, ownership of properties, or future conduct of the agent.

9. Reviews

Users may leave reviews based on genuine experiences.

Reviews must not contain:

• False statements
• Defamatory content
• Hate speech
• Offensive language
• Personal attacks

Rent Ghana reserves the right to remove inappropriate reviews.

10. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Publish fraudulent listings.
• Upload illegal content.
• Impersonate another person.
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the Platform.
• Harvest user information.
• Use automated bots without permission.

11. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, logos, software, branding, and design elements are owned by or licensed to Rent Ghana.

Users retain ownership of the content they upload but grant Rent Ghana a non-exclusive licence to display and promote their listings.

12. Disclaimer

Rent Ghana acts solely as a marketplace connecting users.

We do not guarantee:

• Property availability
• Accuracy of listings
• Rental outcomes
• User behaviour
• Property condition

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any agreement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rent Ghana shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the Platform.

14. Suspension and Termination

Rent Ghana may suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms or engage in unlawful or harmful conduct.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana unless otherwise required by applicable law.
